How do you register a Basename?

  1. Check the name above, with your handles.
  2. Open base.org/names and connect a wallet with ETH on Base.
  3. Search the name, pick the years, and confirm. Any discount you qualify for applies automatically.
  4. Set it as your primary name in Profile Management, then fill in your profile.[1, 2]

What should you know before you register a Basename?

A Basename links to one address at a time, and everything you add to its profile is recorded onchain.
